In the first half of Real Sociedad’s Copa del Rey match against the Yellow Submarine, the Mexican striker benefited from an awful attempted clearance by Jose Angel followed by a terrible mix-up between goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo and defender Mario Gaspar.
The goal was Vela’s sixth in all competitions for Real Sociedad this season.
