Having finished tied sixth in the Dell Technologies Championship over the weekend, Mickelson found himself in the rough during a pro-am round at TPC Boston.
Unsure of his next move, Mickelson asked a young fan for advice, saying: “Would you go for it here out of the rough or would you lay up?”
Young Riley replied: “If I could hit my 3-wood 260, I would probably go for it.”
Mickelson took his shot and was suitably satisfied with Riley’s contribution, joking that he could caddie for him “anytime”.
