Angels starter Hector Santiago tried to sneak an 83-mph cutter past Mazara on Wednesday afternoon, and the left-handed youngster with the sweet swing sent the baseball deep into the upper deck at Globe Life Park.
The blast was measured at 491 feet by StatCast, which is easily the longest of the 2016 MLB season.
Just watch. Wow.

Yeah. Crazy crushed.
Mazara, you might remember, started the season in the minors and only was bumped up to the bigs when Shin-Soo Choo hit the disabled list with a calf injury. Baseball America ranked Mazara as the Rangers’ No. 3 prospect this offseason. Heading into Wednesday afternoon’s game against the Angels, Mazara had a .317 average, .846 OPS, seven homers and 18 RBIs in 38 games with the Rangers.
But back to that home run.
Yeah. Amazing.
