Sciver made 129 from 111 balls on Wednesday as the hosts booked their semi-final berth at the Women’s World Cup with a 75-run win over New Zealand.
It was Sciver’s second century of the tournament, following her 137 against Pakistan earlier in the group stage, but this knock at Derby featured one remarkable shot.
Faced with a Holly Huddleston yorker, Sciver somehow manoeuvred the ball between her legs, down to fine leg for a couple of runs.
You’ve seen the ‘Dilscoop’. Ladies and gentlemen…introducing, the ‘Natmeg’.
